console score today

Me and the wife found(well she did) out of a 78 truck at the pull-a-parts today at b/ham. not too bad for 13.00 bucks... if the buckets would of not been high back would of got them too. ok now hows the best way to clean and what paint to use on it,,,, thanks for the help.

best thing to use on these is a dye. You can get them in rattle cans or in small half pints and pint cans to spray. I prefer the dbi PPG dye, and have had good success with it withholding. If you go rattle can, go with SEM. Trevor

I agree with Trevor. If you can get the color you want in the SEM vinyl paint go with it. If not you will have to go with the PPG. You may be able to get the PPG custom packaged in a spray can too, but it will be about 25 bucks a can...

I would scrub it with soap and water first, then sand it lightly.
