Might be getting a parts truck.

I am excited because it will finally give me motivation (and parts) to keep going on my truck. Add is pretty basic and thee guy doesn't seem to know much more about it. It is a 68' and it doesn't run is about all i know. But for $200 no one is complaining. Maybe my truck will get a 68' clip if its in good shape

Re: Might be getting a parts truck.

It sounds like you are getting a good deal, I hope everything goes ok with the deal.

I am waiting for some parts myself and like you I am excited.

A couple of weeks ago my son and I went to a guys place up in the hills, we had heard he had several trucks and many sheet metal parts for sale very cheap.

When we got there we found out that the road up to the parts and truck from the guys house was out and we had to wade thru mud to get to the stuff.

My son bought a pretty complete '64lwb fleet for $50 without an engine but it has everything else including a compound 4 speed.

We are not sure what all else the guy has because a lot of it was in a couple of old truck boxes. I am getting a complete '69 front clip, but we are still negotiating on the price for the front clip and the misc other stuff.

We still have not seen the '68, it is stored some where else.

My son talked to the guy the other day and a road has been cut up to the '64 and the misc parts, but the road is still too wet.

If the darn rain ever lets up long enough for things to dry out some we will be able to get the '64 C-10truck, front clip and misc sheet metal parts.
