Factory '69 A/C system
I am not going to re-install the factory A/C system I pulled out of my truck. It is complete...compressor, brackets and all attached components; condensor; evaporator and control assembly. Also have the vacuum control reservoir and the flapper for the cowl.
So, what is it worth?

Re: Factory '69 A/C system
The housing on the firewall is intact and without any cracks or other damage. The compressor is one of those items that can be argued....yeah, it's there but I wouldn't try to use it without a rebuild. It worked when I got the truck but when the system lost the charge I elected not to pursue it. Sure the seal is leaking like all of that type of compressor will do over time. Compressor clutch still worked well. Controls are 40 years old, but controlled the heat/defrost/fresh air functions just fine, although some fine-tuning on the cable adjustments would be part of the re-assembly process. The P.O. installed an add-on switch to engage the clutch on the compressor so I don't know if that is limited to an adjustment or the actual switch. The fan motor was replaced (by me). The heater core didn't leak. I believe the high-speed fan relay is bad, because it would only run on high occasionally. All the bracketry has to be worth saving, if anyone intends to do a restoration sort of vehicle. No it's not NOS stuff, but it was intact. Yeah, it would need to be cleaned up.
Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Factory '69 A/C system
Are you going to sell the system? If so, how much do you want? I have a friend who might be interested for the right price.
