stock replacement headers?

I heard that some companies make a shorty header that directly replaces the stock exhaust manifolds....anyone here use them? Do they REALLY DiRECTLY replace the stock manifolds as in take the stocker off, put the shorty's on, bolt the exhust system up to the new ones without modification and roll on?

I hope so, because I sure would like to keep the exhaust that is there ....well, there and just reaplce the old leaky exhaust manifolds!

Don't know what year you have and emissions equipment but that's one source.

Re: stock replacement headers?

Is this what your talking about http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...8991&viewitem= ? I believe that you do have to change the ends of the stock pipes they look to have the inserts included in the kit. A muffler shop should be able to fix you right up. Here is another set http://www.kmjent.com/cart/product.php?productid=949
