Noobish front leaf question.

I was taking a gander at the front suspension on my 70 the other day, and thought, "What if you were to take the 3 leaf pack apart, and reassemble it in an inverted fashion?" Would that create a situation where the neg arch then works on a positive arch thus creating a lift while keeping a stock spring rate?

This is the stuff that wanders around my head during the day.
