Anyone ever seen this truck

Back in 72 my Dad special ordered a from Mike Pallone Chevrolet in Springfield, Va 1972 1/2 Black stepside.Black interior 402 turbo 400 and a 373 or 411 can't remember. No power steering poverty hubcaps and no rear bumper. He put a step bumper on the rear. Had a shift kit put in the trans put solid chrome wheels with 67 vette center caps. Anyway in 1976 he sold it to buy a 76 stepside 454/400/411. My dad sold it to one of his customers who added under the dash a/c and he sold it to a guy who was going to FLA he said.
Anyway my Dad died a while back and I had to go through old pictures several of that truck. No one wanted to order that truck for my dad. I spent many latenights as dealers closed and many Sat and Sundays traveling to just about every dealership in the Washington DC area listening to him rail these salesmen for saying that truck cannot be ordered. Finally one guy said I can get it for you and he did.
Just reliving some memories and I always wondered what happened to that truck. Begged him not to sell it
Thanks

There`s not many like that.I`d like to think a truck like that would survive.I wonder if it`s in Florida.

Re: Anyone ever seen this truck

Sounds like cool/rare truck. It would be amazing if you could find it and get it back.

Definitely be a cool one to track down. If you can't find it, it would be a fun one to clone.

Why don't you scan the pictures and post them in this thread. Your chances of locating it that way is likely the best bet.'

Good Luck!!

Re: Anyone ever seen this truck

I will scan a few pics when I get a chance. My mom said my Dad saved everything So we will probably find the window sticker on that truck when we go through his files or atleast the vin# I hope. When he first got sick I would occassionally search craigslist or Auto trader looking for that truck.
Thanks for you help and thoughts
