Heard Power Tour is coming thru Chattanooga Next Year
Just a heads up I hear the Hot Rod Power Tour is stopping in Chattanooga next year. Supposed to start in Bowling Green Ky., then to Chattown , then to Birrmingham Al. , then to Mobile Al. Just na FYI for all the local gear heads in the south.

Now, look, don't get me wrong. I don't have anything against the Midwest, and I'll be the first to admit that the Golden State is about the lousiest place to live, but still... Share the wealth and have the dang tour come this way. Until then, I don't buy Hot Rod magazine and I won't even CONSIDER travelling anywhere to be a part of the tour. I'm planning to make the Bowling Green to Chatty and Chatty to Birmingham legs of it. If I don't make it to BG, I'll still do the Chatty to Birmingham leg.
I got to make the Somerset to Bristol leg of it back in June and had a blast. Hopefully, some board members can meet up and travel together.

My Mom and dad and I long hauled it in '08. It was one of the best car experiences I've had. Me in the '78 Malibu with my then 5yo boy and my Mom and Dad in their '71 SWB. Good times. Sometimes the boy still says "you remember on the Power Tour when......"

Does anyone have the dates? I may have to make a business trip down that way.
