1 ton, austin, 350, $2k

Guy who did the truck work has a C30 1 ton with duallys and a 4 bolt main 350 with 4 speed (3+granny) looking for 2k.

Work bed on it now, I would be ULTRA tempted to get a hydraulic drive on ramp on it.

no A/C, but PS, PB.

2k

Running, no title, but he is working on that.

sorry, left the question off - worth 2k?

I might help him sell it on here if I can't take it.

Not without a clear title in hand. All of the best of intentions are out the window if the title shows up and has a lein against it or is a salvage title.

I looked at a '72 C-30 a while back. It is a 157" WB camper truck. It came from Cali 5 years ago and the sheet metal is nice on it. It shows 74,000 0n the odometer and has a 402 & th400. The engine ran good and carried good oil pressure and the tranny seemed solid when shifted from gear to gear. The camper has been leaking and was in pretty bad shape. He is asking $2100 for it. I think I will offer him $1800 for it and see what he says.

Don't know if that is any help or not...

If it`s solid and runs well it`s worth it.By work bed do you mean utility body...tool bins for sides? How long is the truck?Utility beds are worth $500-$1,500 if you don`t intend to use that.

Will get one if I can... I basically told him if I don't buy it, I can at least help him write the ad, and post it here for him as well.

It's white, olive interior.

Good point. How much for a vintage one? j/k - that is a REAL good point. Taking that into it, listing that for 500 on CL would certainly help a buyer get over any potential remorse (I am leaning towards not buying. Woman needs a ring.)

That helps a lot. Basically 2k was too much for this then. 350 4 bolt is nice, but not 402 nice. I'd love a 1 ton dually to work with, but I don't need the project right now.

Thanks all. If/When he gets his title sorted, I will post it up here as well for you all to see and possibly buy.
