Gear Star Transmission Question
Hello!
Any of you have experience with GearStar Transmission packages? I have a used 700R4 that "supposedly" works, but now I see that GearStar is offering a package deal for their performance oriented 700R4 for 1500 bucks. Wondering what you all think about them? Seems like not too bad of an idea seeing how I would have half or more of that in mine by the time i have it checked out, reparis, torque converter, etc. and no warranty, where they are offering 3 years 36K miles. This is going in a truck I plan to show with a mild 350. 68 short stepside. Any thoughts? |

Re: Gear Star Transmission Question
i have only heard and read good things about them. they are usually higher than everybody else, but have lowered the prices on some products and now they are a little bit more in line with everybody else. That pkg for 1500 is their most popular. I will probably end up getting that pkg.

Re: Gear Star Transmission Question
Yes. When I compare this package to say TCI, it's a pretty good package in thAt it's the tranny, torque converted, fluid, TV cables, lockup, etc. And the warranty.
Can't hardly beat it as long as the quality is there! |
