Has anyone built or bought any center console's for a bench seat, I am going to start working on one tomorrow. Mainly to bring my floor shifter up to a comfortable position but I was wondering if anyone has any good pics or idea's....thanks

Re: Center console
if you build it they will come. I have seen alot of console for bench seats made before. I have never seen on that is made already that you can just fit in your truck. If you have an idea of what you want it to look like or you like something out of a car or truck you have seen get it at a junk yard and make it fit. Other then that im not sure what can be done. I had a friend of mine buy a truck a few months ago that the PO had put jaguar buckets and a jaguar center console. The seats looked like sh!t but the console fit pretty nice on the dash.

Re: Center console
Well for anyone interested, It came out fairly decent, no show piece but practical as all get out....I didnt like the black boot to cover the shifter so I built up the box and just let the chrome piece fit into the top, which is removable for maintenance or adjustment. Also I made a nice little pocket on the front for pens and what'not. I also found a spot to get in a couple little speakers. Its amazing how those little two help out the crappy 6x9's in the back to sound that much better.. And its my first B&M shifter(z-gate) and me likey...
