heres my new rig
new to this great site and enjoying it.new to me is my first pre 88 chevy truck.its a 78 3/4 ton 4x4.its got a 350 (runs good but smokes slightly)and its a 4 speed with a 205 transfer.the first picture is how it looked when i bought it.11ins of lift with 36in tires.the second picture is how it looks today 3ins of lift and 32in all terrain tires.it took a couple weekends to change out springs and remove the body lift but most of it was recent and not bad to work with.now it needs some electrical work for inspection backup lights, horn, hazards most of which was not made to work after the cab was swapped by the last owner.the new cab was from an automatic but has the original steering column swapped back in.there are cut wires every where.a plow will be next for personal use.

Re: heres my new rig
thanks for the kind words.got alot of things worked out on the truck today the fuse box was a mess some blown fuses and some were not the right amps.hazards work now, found the wire for the backups just hanging under the dash jumped the contacts and the backups worked, just need to pick up a switch to wire them to.did some rewiring to the stock horns and put in a button for them and they work great.now i think i need a new wiper switch and my wiper will work good.oh and i dont have the slots i traded them back to the owner and got alot better deal on the truck those tires were almost new. it wasnt easy the little boy in me said keep them.
