4x4 cabs vs 2wd cab

Are there any differences in the two i came across a good 4x4 cab but my truck i have now is 2wd could i use the 4x4 cab on 2wd setup thanks for any help

I was also wondering this and vice versa how well 2wd cabs interchange with 4wd

You didn't identify the years you are comparing. 4X4 will have the high hump. Two wheel drive not necessarily as it is based on transmission it came with. Center grille brackets are different for various groups of years. The 71 and 72 cabs have a suspended gas pedal and a vent in the driver's side door jamb. Also 71 and 72 rear view mirrors are windshield, not cab roof mounted. I'm sure that there are other minor differences that I can't think of or don't know.

Yes you can use the 4x4 cab on your 2 wheel drive.

Only difference is the center hump in the floor. 4x4s have a bolt in hump.

Most 2 wheel drive, turbo 350 trucks have a small hump.

But the bottom line is you can use it.
