Re: 2003ish roof on a C10 at SEMA
Wow!! I'm not sure I like the grille but that is some pretty nice fabrication to make make the top half of the cab what it is.
I think those are the body lines that match the 88-99 GM trucks more than being 99-up body. I love these trucks but I'm afraid I couldn't dedicate myself long enough to be able to do that. Really nice work!

My thoughts too. Jeff are you sure that's not an 88-98 cab?

Well here is a pict of my 90 454SS (Is for sale) for comparison to see if it is a 88-99 cab....

Re: 2003ish roof on a C10 at SEMA
I don't think it would be the whole cab ... the body lines match up to well for the top of the fender and the roll at the bottom of the door.

Re: 2003ish roof on a C10 at SEMA
they mightve used the whole cab and doors peeled it like an orange below the beltline and made the doorskins from the C10 fit
dunno if its worth the difference other than it shows of there workmanship the roof seems higher than the original ...... next project topchop?

I like the fact of getting rid of the front windshield gasket. That is one thing I hate about our trucks. I like the flush look a lot better.

I have to agree with some posts above. Excellent workmanship, but I'm not a big fan of that look.

Re: 2003ish roof on a C10 at SEMA
Only thing I'd change is a 2" chop to bring the green house down some. Always found them to be HUGE on the 88-98 trucks, but otherwise I like the look this truck has. Even the grille is a nice bit of work.

Have to say thats not my cup of tea but its a super nice truck. To have talent to do that kinda fab work is a blessing in its self. Not everyone can do that.

Re: 2003ish roof on a C10 at SEMA
Amazing craftsmanship, but personally I think it looks horrible. When I first saw it I thought it was an S-10 with the front clip from a 68.
Now, that being said, it is am amazing piece of work....just personally dont like how it looks. |
