replacement panels

has anyone used any patch/replacement panels from AMD (auto metal direct)? i have talked to some local body guys that have used there panels on some camaros and mopars, and said the quality and fit was way better than year one, paddock...etc. not trying to start a vendor war here just curious.

Re: replacement panels

I have also heard of alot of MOPAR guys on my other forums that swear by the quality of AMD. Everyone of them that has used AMD parts say they are the highest quality aftermarket metal they have seen. Very close if not identical to original panels. Haven't heard about anything they make for trucks but if it is like the parts made for the MOPAR muscle cars I would assume it is top notch stuff.

Re: replacement panels

I've used the full 1/4s for the 69 road runners. They had a few issues that they supposedly have corrected.
Some guy from Goodmark left and started AMD. Goodmark has since stopped using anything from Tri-plus. Evidently the Amd guy is using them, so Goodmark has chosen to boycot Triplus. Seems like they are shooting themselfs in the foot since half of Goodmarks catolog is from Tri-plus. AMD is trying to be TOP DOG so I expect they will turn up quality a notch, which is good for everyone.
