Recomendations on ordering some parts

Hey Guy's a question for ya....

Do you think it is best to go to a specific brake supplier/rebuilder for the brake stuff and fotr a gear box go to a gear box rebuilder guy? I need to order a steering gear box and a steering coupler, master cylinder, proportioning valve and 2 loaded front rotors. The truck is a 72 1/2 ton 4X4 350.
Having owned a repair shop back in the 80's I used to go directly to the builder/wholesaler's for various parts. It seems that some of the classic chevy part suppliers that sell everything are rather expensive and not very well informed.
