No idea but ya my best guess would be a heat shield of some sort not really sure for what though??

they look more like scoops for diverting air on mnanifolds for cooling than heat sgields

I was thinking exhaust heat shields too but wasn't sure. Any idea for what kind of setup? Also, do they look bent up or is that the way they are supposed to be?
Downtown: Do yours look exactly like the ones pictured?

Yes, stock exhaust heat shield. I have them on my 72 super. They also direct incoming air on the exhaust manifold for cooling?
