Re: my trucks life

The truck looks good. If you just have to do the flat paint, can I ask you not to do flat black? I think your truck will just become another one to look right past, in flat black. It is too over done. I think the flat red would look pretty cool with a set of gloss black wheels. Kinda opposite of what you have now. That could be cool.

Don't get me wrong here but I can't even start to count how many times I have been asked to paint something flat black. I used to paint full time and do some side work still. I know, I know, "but it's easier for me to paint it flat." Which is not always true. If you run it, there is no "cut & buff". Keep in mind that flat finishes are WAY harder to keep clean, you can't polish it, you can't wax it, etc. It just can't be maintained like normal gloss paint. Sorry I am off my soapbox now.

Re: my trucks life

Flat red or even blue would be cool. I think a lot of people are just so sick and tired of flat black.

yea i only reason i wanted to do flat black was because the door jams and stuff were already black, i think ill prolly go gloss black with silver truck rallys or flat red with black truck rallys

Nice looking truck, and VW.

Just a heads up you need to be a supporting member to post things for sale. Consider becoming a supporter, it's well worth it.

you opened a can of worms now i made mention on here that i heated some coils one time back in the day, because at 16 years old not everyone can afford belltech, and i was ripped a new one for about a week. they told me to never recommend any one to heat coils because its a safety issue and somebody could get hurt. anyways truck looks good and just trying to save you from having to read all the hate mail you get after talking about heating coils

Re: my trucks life

oo you cant listen to people how do you think they lowered cars and trucks back in the day before they made lowering components? add a little heat and gives ya a nice stance, also my truck rides great and drives straight.......**** the haters
