bolt hole problem
Can the head on a 350 be welded on?Somebody mess up the bottom bolt for the altanator.They tried to get it out and made it worse.

Yes you can. Clean the broken bolt in the head than hold a nut next to the cylinder head with a pliers and weld the nut to the broken bolt. Than take a wrench to the welded nut and remove your broken bolt. You must get good penetration and fill the whole nut to make sure the nut does not break off.

Or you can get the correct parts and install the alt on the drivers side.

wel a 76 is supposed to be on the passenger side. I guess since this is on the 67 - 72 forrum, I assumed it was for a 67 - 72 truck.

if the bolt holes on the rear of the heads are ok you can switch the heads side for side and you'll have good holes in the front
