Talking New Tail Lights

Well, it's done. I have both tail lights installed and the fenders back on. I am still waiting till the fender welts and stainless bolts arrive to finish it, but I had to have it on the road for a Keller's meet last night, plus a cruise around town today.

Some of the pics are a little dark, but I'll take some others when the light is better and change them out.

What do ya think? I think it's a great improvment over the original "stop signs" that the truck came with. They may be smaller, but they are much brighter than the original lights. Not only do they look good, but it's a higher level of safety too!

Here's the link to check out the rest of the pics.

I love those lights...

They are mid fifties F@rd lights aren't they? I almost bought a pair and still intend to put them on the 71. Now I know I will.

Talking

When I bought them, I was told they are for a '28-34 Ford. They are similar to what Chevy used, but these are the only ones I could find at the swap's around here. I bought them brand new from Obsolete Ford. I hate to say they are a Ford product, but I think they look good enough to over come that aspect.
