Wheel and tire combo

Hey guys! Im new here and just bought my self a 1983 Chevy C10 stepside. One problem though, im not crazy about the 15" cragar wheels that are on it. Id like some suggestions on what wheels and tires would look good on my truck. Thanks

Re: Wheel and tire combo

Welcome to the forums. Truck looks good. I happen to like black '83 stepside (that's what I have).
Take a look through the pictures of shortbed trucks in the top section. I am sure you will get an idea of what you will like.
Otherwise most 5 spoke rims look good, just not white ones. The rim size and tire combo you have looks pretty good on your truck.

Question: What kind of bed cover is that?

Re: Wheel and tire combo

Welcome to the forum Pwallace30. Give us an idea of what you might prefer. There are so many options for wheel choice that looks good on these trucks.

Some prefer the clean original look of a 15" rally wheel, while others like aftermarket wheel in various sizes.

Tell us what you have in mind.

Re: Wheel and tire combo

Heres a pic of an 86' with rally wheels, not sure exactly what they are or what size they are. I like that look but I would like to go a little bigger if they make them. Also does anyone know where the mirrors on this truck came from? Wild83C10 im not sure what kind of cover is on my truck, I bought the truck the way it is.

Re: Wheel and tire combo

Welcome to the boards. It's always nice to meet new people with the same interests as the rest of us. Don't be afraid to ask questions, or show us pictures of your truck. We love pictures.

I agree with the others. The truck looks sweet. I like those wheels, if they were chrome like stated above. Also like Ken said there are endless possibilities to wheels.

They look like mirrors off the 70-81 Camaros

Re: Wheel and tire combo

you could always have the rims you've already got powerdercoated grey or silver or something...I think that would look good also...
