New from Maine. 72 SWB stepside/fleetside

Gd morning,

I'm from Maine, have 2 1972 C10 SWB trucks, one is a stepside with 87k and the other is a fleetside, both are 6/3 on the trees, both are in terrible shape, the fleetside is for parts, the stepside is going to be a lifelong restoration. Sorry the pics are so big.

Great site!
Glen

Re: New from Maine. 72 SWB stepside/fleetside

Thanks for the welcomes, its going to be a LONG process, I plan to use a 1994 LT1/4L60E from a 9C1 police car i have, and i'd like to find a 6' fleetside body, the stepside doesn't do much for me. And probably paint it a dark blue.

Re: New from Maine. 72 SWB stepside/fleetside

Shes pretty crusty, i'm going to post some more pics later of the car cancer. I am the 3rd owner, my buddy that owned it before me bought it in 1979, and its been sitting since 1989. It fired right up with an outboard gas tank, new starter, and a coil. Couldn't believe it. Won't shut off, diesels like crazy, but the LT1 will fix that.

PS why is my name in Pink??. HELP!!! lol
