Once winter is over, I plan to do some things to my C-20. One of the main things is lower it (I get nose bleeds whenever I get near it). I've built a bunch of lowered trucks (from static dropped all the way to body dropped on hydraulics), but I've never cared about using them as a truck. With this one I'd like to tow with it occasionally, and I'd like to know what a reasonable amount of drop would be and still be able to do so. I'd like to go as low as possible, but need to keep myself from laying it out completely. So, any opinions, or experiences anyone wants to share?

is it leaf or coil spring (not sure with 3/4ton)

if its coil spring, id do a static drop and c notch....but im not very familiar,free bump.

Coil springs with helper bags is an option. Or bags that are rated for more weight.

I run my SWB with a 2/4 static and tow my boat sometimes 4 hours each way with no problems. Granted its not really heavy, somewhere around 3500 to 4000 lbs. Any heavier and I think I would want helper bags.

bag it with cupped LCA and a C notch bags are rated for more than what the truck could carry I have been loading my truck with 3/4 cord of hardwood just about every weekend I tow my boat ( 3800 lbs) and even have put my slide in camper in the back but if your going to do that get a rear sway bar

The truck is a coil spring rear. I don't really wanna bag it, although a helper bag is probably a good idea. I want to lower it somewhere around 6 or so inches.

i tow my boat with a static 4"-6" drop no c-notch, it rides rough enough to not want to pull my boat every day, but tolerable enough to take the 2 hour trip to the lake.
