Stripped bolt in head
I stripped the 3/8 bolt hole in #7 cyl for my header. What size do I drill and tap it out to?

Go by a 3/8 heli-coil kit. It comes with the right bit and the tap. Your stripped hole will be as good as new, If you drill it straight. Good Luck

Use a propane torch and melt some candle wax on top of the broken stud. Keep heat on the stud and let the wax seep in. Makes the stud come out with alot less torq if ya slick it up some.
