Where to find U-bolts for rear axles?

Whats the best place to buy the two big u-bolts that holds the rear end to the trailing arms? Is there a place on the net that has a good rep, or is it better to go through GM? For that matter, how bout for other bolts? Tractor Supply? Lowes? HomeDepot? Or online?

Thanks for any input.

Kevin

Call:

City Spring & Brake Service
798 College St
Beaumont, TX 77701

(409) 833-5695

and tell them what you are looking for. If they don't have them they can either make them or order them for you. A set should be about 30 bucks.

No problem Kevin.

After looking up Liberty, TX in Google Maps to see what it was close to I typed "automotive springs beaumont, tx" into Google. (without the quotes)..

Google is your friend.

Re: Where to find U-bolts for rear axles?

I went to a local spring shop, bade them while I waited, and they were considerably better than the ones I got from LMC 5 years ago or so.

Do you need a standard length set? If so, I've got a new set, cover shipping and they're yours.

Re: Where to find U-bolts for rear axles?

Schucks has them for 10.99 for one u bolt. $44 an axle. These were the larger 3 3/8 ones. I year ago a spring shop charged me around $50 for an axles worth. Now I need them for a different axle swap. Might just go the pull a part route.
