From posts I have seen here and elsewhere, the height is almost the same as a high rise single plane and carb. My semi-educated guess is that it will fit, no problem.

Sweet now just have to get a few things in order before i buy later this summer. Prob gonna need modified motor mounts and new brackts for alt, ps, and ac. not sure if i am gonna do the serpitine just yet but prob. will.

Will i have any problems mounting the th350 to the big block or is it a straight bolt up?

Any other things i may need?

Your fuel system will need upgrading. HIgh pressure fuel pump, high pressure lines, a return line, etc. The accessories should be standard big block fare.

In every case I know of, a TH350 will bolt right up but you may want to get this confirmed from someone else. I'd do a tranny at teh same time, but that's just me.

I'll think of some more . . .

if i were you i wouldnt put a th350 behind that motor. i would definately go with a th400 unless u like pulling the tranny out every 6 months or so. i would definately do a th400 e4specially with all that torque. and yes a 350 will bolt rigt up as well as a 400

How about the RamJet 454 LT1 instead. There was an ad in the Sunday paper for Friendly Fridley Chevrolet having available the all aluminum bb 454 for sale. Chevrolet is only making 200 of these engines and Friendly will get 9 of them. The cost is only $21950 each, the full amount is payable in advance too!
