Odd part - NOS rear of 67 cab

Check this out. A rear panel for a small window cab. I have never seen anything like this. It's pretty cool!!!
I really wonder what the "value" of this part is. It's got to be super rare, but it's a part that isn't commonly damaged, so there may not be much need. It would be cool if you wanted to add a small window to a big window cab.

Very rare part indeed. I think I would just buy a complete cab, .

Re: Odd part - NOS rear of 67 cab

It would be ideal if you already had a 68-72 decent cab on a 67 truck and wanted the small window again.

Re: Odd part - NOS rear of 67 cab

I know of a pretty decent 67 small window cab thats going to go to the crusher sometime soon if no one wants it...pretty good shape...some normal rust in rockers. I got the front clip already...no room or cash for the cab. Although I am not sure what the guy would want for it, if anythign. Its in Montana here. PM me if anyone is interested.

Re: Odd part - NOS rear of 67 cab

That would look cool hanging on the wall in the garage. I've seen 2 before with the big window. One was on e-bay about a year ago, and one was at Carlisle swap meet many years ago.

If I had a cab that needed that whole piece replaced, I think I would try to find a better cab!!

Definitely a cool piece though!

You sure don't see those every day. At least it's not some Chinese aftermarket panel that won't fit. That alone makes it kind of valuable for those who could use it.

Re: Odd part - NOS rear of 67 cab

Years ago my truck got rearended and folded the right side of the cab over the door. A peice like that would be great for such a repair. It would have to be cut up which might be sad.

Re: Odd part - NOS rear of 67 cab

It would take a big wall..lol Nice piece but it is just the outer skin. You would still need the inner if you were to convert a large window cab. WES

Re: Odd part - NOS rear of 67 cab

I thought I had the only one LOL. Can you say NOS cab corners? HuggerCST gave me one and here are a couple of shots after I cut the cab corners out. I used them on my 72.

Re: Odd part - NOS rear of 67 cab

I would love to have that, then cut the rear 12" off a bed and make a shelf of the whole thing with the tailgate hanging down... It would look like a truck driving into the wall, a short truck that is..
