Re: Anybody go to SEMA?
Go here for build pics- LINK
Aaron Iha is an amazing fabricator. His frame work is truly a work of art. Looking at some of his recent exterior design work, I feel he needs to stick with frames.

Re: Anybody go to SEMA?
I duno Ken, he's pretty hit and miss. His frames are always a knock out, but alot of his metal work is pretty bad ass. It just seems that he's still finding his "mojo" if you will, when it comes to major exterior fabrication like bumpers.
He did that '07 on 26's last year and I loved the metal work on it. The Spectre Dually is the only one with major exterior fab that I've liked from him.

Re: Anybody go to SEMA?
It's just my opinion, but I think when it comes to exterior styling he is more miss than hit.
That massive bumper I posted is a perfect example. Like I said, he is an amazing fabricator, I just don't care for his exterior styling.

Re: Anybody go to SEMA?
now that yellow one is hideous...i think his work is bad ass, but taste on a few of those is not the greatest...i guess would be the best way to put it. the bumper nearly perfectyl contours the front of that orange truck, but its just too plain. the yellow truck and blue one look to have the same grille. i would not put it on my truck, but you have to admire the work. it looks flawless.

Re: Anybody go to SEMA?
I went to SEMA but was only their for two days. I really liked the blue truck it looks like it was built really well and I also really liked the orange truck beside it. The display for the orange truck was pretty cool. I wll try to post some pictures later of what I am talking about.

Re: Anybody go to SEMA?
The were built by two different people entirely. They are similar. but not the same.

Re: Anybody go to SEMA?
This is the truck that I am talking about that was setting by the blue one. It was really nice and had a very cool display.
This is a couple pictures of the convertible truck I liked the grill on the blue truck. This is what was under the hood of the blue truck. Some pictures of the back of the truck. |

Re: Anybody go to SEMA?
I really like the Blue one from the first post. I noticed the cab. Was the chassis from a 88 up truck?
The grill is ok, but I think that it would have been better with a little more detail with the moldings from an orginal...just my opinion.
