Exclamation Honor for our American Service Men and Women, Nov 11

Let me be the first to say, THANK YOU to our service men and women, both present and past. To those who made the ultimate sacrifice, to those who served aboard, to those who served within our border, we thank you.

Your Honor and Courage DOES NOT GO UNRECOGNIZED.

Our country is truly blessed by your service.

God Bless America,

To our friends and family fighting in the Mideast, come home soon. We miss you........

Re: Honor for our American Service Men and Women, Nov 11

I want to say thank you to all the veterans who put their lives ahead of us so we could be safe in our homes and free in our country.
It is easy for many of us to take our safety and freedom for granted, and most of the time I don’t even think about it, but I do know that if it wasn’t for our military men and women who pay the ultimate price, people all over the world would be so much worse off without them.
So I am glad I have this opportunity to express my gratitude. Veterans are all heroes to me. Thank you.

Thumbs up Thanks veterans

Thank you to all the vets past and present for defending our right to do the things we enjoy. Without you, our country would crumble. Thanks for your service and selfless acts while serving our great country. We salute you.

Re: Honor for our American Service Men and Women, Nov 11

Being a Vietnam era veteran, I also thank all the veterans that have served and the future veterans that are serving now.

Long time ago when I was in the military, a person asked me if I was a God fearing man and I answered, yes.

Then he asked if I believed in the ten commandments. Again, I answered, yes.

He said, if you're at war you have to kill and God said you shouldn't kill, but you still have to do it. So you would be a sinner.

I answered yes, that's probably true.

I came over to the general discussion side of the board to start a thread for Veteran's Day and to say thanks to all the men and women of our armed forces. I'm glad to see someone has beat me to it! Fly your flags with pride!

Because of You, Unknown Soldier

By Courtney Tanabe

Because of you, I am here
Because of you, I am able to live freely

Yet I do not know you
And I have not done anything for you

But there you stand, ready to fight
And there you are prepared to die

For me

You've fought before
And you'll fight again
For someone you don't know

So thank you Unknown Soldier
Fighting for me

I'm here because of you
And I owe my future to you
