Droping 67 w/85 front

I have found a 85 chevy front end to put under my 67 so i can have disk power brakes and power steering. So now i am wondering to drop it do i just need to buy 85 chevy drop spindles or is there a better way? I am only dropping it 2.5 inches so will just drop spindles work?

Make sure your doner front end has 1.25" thick spindles. For the most part, all I've seen in drop spindles were for the heavier duty rotors.

You can get drop spindles for either the thin or thick rotors. They will give you either 2.5 or 3 inch drop depending on which brand you choose.

Another option is either a 2 or 3 inch drop spring instead of the spindle.

Drop spindles will give better ride. They will not affect the ride at all. Springs will.

71tahoe means measure the thickness of your brake rotors. Either 1 inch or 1.25 inch. Light or heavy duty brakes. You will need to know which you have to order the right spindles.

Yes, rotor thickness. I swear I fixed that before I hit submit...
