6 lug wheels
Anyone have pics of 6 lug wheels on their 67-68? I am finding it very difficult to find chrome (not rallys) wheels that don't require a change over to a 5 lug setup. I am running American Racing Outlaw 1 series (discotinued by the way) and are milking them till I can find a better set. Would like to stay close to a stock look for the period like a cragar ss or am racing torq thrust but not having any luck. Need input from the members on this one. Time for some new shoes!

Re: 6 lug wheels
Matty... just remember that each truck may be setup differently, so I would recommend measuring for BS to fit your specific setup. Just the slightest issue can cause you to spend a lot of money incorrectly.
c10addict... love those shots of your '68!

Re: 6 lug wheels
thanks to All. C10, let me know if you wanna sell them wheels then, hope it will be in a bit and give me time to save up for them. i just picked up a set of rally wheels to throw on for now and get rid of the (don't want to offend anyone by what i call them) wagon wheels. they are newer style 15x7 for the front and 15x8 for the back. any ideas on center caps????
thanks again to all, really love all of the feedback from everyone, and the great pics, will be getting some of my truck up there soon. |
