Marker lights

Curious on your guys opinion on keeping the side marker lights or eliminating them on a 68 pickup? If i keep the side marker lights i was plan on putting in the clear lenses.

Re: Marker lights

On my 70 LowBuck I lowered the lights and flushed them into the body. Still has the stock look with a twist.

Re: Marker lights

I think the clear ones look pretty nice on you truck Al, you would just need the clear turn signals also.

Re: Marker lights

68's were only used as reflectors anyway, no lights inside... If you get rid of them then it will look like a 67..

Re: Marker lights

68 did have optional side marker lights... they weren't standard untill 70. (they were a required option on any cab/chassis truck with the dual rear wheels)
I would leave them.

Re: Marker lights

on a 68 i think they look best shaved, but on the 69-72 i would keep them. the clear ones look good on certain colors along with the factory ones but if you do keep them use the 2 bar ones not the solid lens
