Question need advice, thinking of buying 71 c20 deluxe suburban

I'm originally from Canada, and living Alabama now. Never seen anything older than 1980 back home in decent shape. I'm new to these 71-72 trucks.

I've opened a sandblasting shop here in the south.

I have a 71 c10 delux lwb and really like it. I thinking of purchasing a 71 c20 deluxe suburban. I need the room so things won't get wet. He wants 1000. for it with not motor,

Will need some work. I noticed is 8 lug wheels.

Any pro's and con's about these suburbans. Also any ideas of what these things are worth once they are done. that includes the c10 deluxe.

Would appreciate any help you could give me.

Jock.

What kind of shape is the 71 C20 in? That will definitely play a factor in if the $1000.00 is fair. The thing that I see as I look at a Subruban is there is a lot more to deal with if you plan to fix it up. Alot more interior to deal with, a lot more sheet metal to attend to. I would like to have a burb at some point but realize that one will take a lot more work to fix up.

I can't think of a reason not to buy it! I love burbs. You are asking the wrong crowd! Not many people on this board will try to talk you out of it.
