Cheap Parts Delivery

I'm driving from Austin, TX to Norfolk, VA and was looking to see if I could help anyone move parts for a little gas money. I'll be driving my truck (of course) so nothing is too small, not even a whole truck. I'll be leaving here about the first of December.

PM me with what you need.

Re: Cheap Parts Delivery

I could sure use your help.I bought a pair of Stepside fenders w/longbed steps from member 72wideside last summer and shipping arrangements fell through.I even believe he is in Austin...know him ? I`ll check, but I believe that`s where he is.if this could work out, you`ll have some fuel money.

Re: Cheap Parts Delivery

Do you plan on coming down to VA to pick them up?

Yes,I am.I could haul anything up I-95 if that helps.i`m in central Maryland.I could help anyone within a 100 mile radius, meet 1/2 way,or just sit on something until it could be picked up at a later date.I like making stuff like this work.

I was all excited how the original ride for these fenders seemed to have worked out...
I was invited (told no was not an option) to ride with someone to TN where a bunch of the blazer guys were getting together.Another member was coming from San Antonio with space made for a blazer back seat he was picking up.He said he could haul the fenders to TN and we`d haul them home, all while enjoying the ride and a fun partying weekend.I even had some parts to stop by The Truck Shop and a part or two to pick up.it all was like a dream trip for truck nuts, but a bit too ar fetched in the end.Everyone backed out but me.
I`ll do whatever it takes to get these fenders. They are paid for!i even considered a trip to TX if I had a way.Someday, other parts/trucks/friends...

Re: Cheap Parts Delivery

I think this is an awesome offer....I wish I could find (and afford) a rust free cab....I'll look and see what's out there....

Just an FYI....If you use I-40 through NC, a part is closed down due to a Rock slide....suppose to be closed for 3-4 months...here's an article from my local paper with a map of its location....http://www.charlotteobserver.com/loc...y/1019615.html

Re: Cheap Parts Delivery

Will you be hauling parts back with you? If so, what route are you taking back? Trying to see if I can list some front end sheetmetal I'll be selling and if there are any TX buyers or people along the way there...
