Post your pictures of season end rides.
Unlike a lot of members a lot of us have to hibernate our trucks. The definition of Maine's winter is here:
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_th..._like_in_Maine A favorite saying is Maine has 11 months of winter and 1 month of bad sledding. So before I put the truck away we went to the beach in Hampton New Hampshire, for one last ride. These are the pictures from today. If next weekend is ok I may go get some more from Old Orchard Beach, Maine. If anyone else has any, post them here so we can reminisce through the winter... Thanks ! Re: Post your pictures of season end rides.
Great great pictures guys. It looks like my truck will be out of the body shop just in time for Thanksgiving. Which means it will sit in the garage until next spring. Oh the drama.

Re: Post your pictures of season end rides.
Hi Mikey! I particularly like the pic with all the signs in the background, the one with Chicken Caesar on top. There's nothing that I could tell that would give that away as current. It could be 40 years old!
I'll drive mine until the first snow fall. After that they pound the sand and salt to the roads and I'm done for the year. Do you ever get up around Portland/Freeport? I really like that second pic!

Re: Post your pictures of season end rides.
Yeah, Sinister and I will need to park our trucks in storage for the harsh Los Angeles winter bearing down upon us... It's only going to be 80 today. Poor thing would take a 1/2 minute to warm up if I tried to drive it!! Another month or 2 and I'll have to get out the... (I can't say it...) LONG PANTS...

Re: Post your pictures of season end rides.
I moved mine from the front of the garage to the side, no pics, and had to tow it with the truck, because of the dang 3 inches of rain we got the other night, now nothing in my yard wants to start cause its so wet.
Awesome pics mike. |

Put the shiney wheels away & put the skinny's and caps on for a long winter under a cover . This was the last drive of the season

Re: Post your pictures of season end rides.
By no means is the season ever over here. We don't have as many pretty days to drive in winter as summer, but we still get some. Here's some shots I took Saturday.
I love this shot. I didn't even notice the flag till I downloaded them. Some shots in front of the old dealership again. In front of an old general store down the road.
