Need opinions on stance

When I put a 3/5 drop on my truck I thought it would make it sit pretty even but now the back still sits a little higher. I am on the fence about getting blocks to lower the back a little more or leaving it like it is. If anybody has any opinions on this it just might help me make up my mind. Thanks.

Some like a little rake, some don't. You could try the 2" blocks for not much expense and if you don't like it level they can be removed. I like the way it sits now.

I love the way it sits now. I like 'em with a little rake.

face down a...
nevermind.
it looks killer like that. I've always felt ALL rear wheel drive vehicles look better with some rake. Level stance has ALWAYS looked kinda honda-ish to me.

Re: Need opinions on stance

I would bring it down @ 1" in the back. I like a little rake as well but not quite that much.
I like to keep the distance from the top of the tire to the fender the same front and back and use the height of the rear tire to set the rake.

I like a hot rod rake. Thats more of a redneck rake. Lower it a bit more.

Re: Need opinions on stance

Great opinions! So I guess maybe 1 inch if any at all. Maybe I could just drive around with a couple hundred pounds in the back for awhile. I wanted to leave tire sizes the same for rotating but the taller tire in the rear sounds like it would look better. Thanks again everyone!

Re: Need opinions on stance

Swap in a 6" rear drop spring, or add a 1" block to the rear and you will be golden. Here's a shot of my truck with a 4.5/6" drop for comparison:

Bring the rear down and you will be golden. Killer looking truck!

I had 2 1/2 Drop Spindles on my 72 GMC.
I added a 3"/4" Drop Spring/Shock kit from CPP and then went with a 2" Lowering block kit in the Rear.
LOVE the stance!!

Re: Need opinions on stance

That rake's a bit much for me, and that's exactly my problem with going with a static setup. I'll be doing bags in the back, at least, or all the way around so I can tow/haul and get the stance exactly where I want it.

Great looking truck, BTW.

I'd go 1.5-2 inches lower in the back, Jack.....

Re: Need opinions on stance

It is amazing how much different drop stances look on different trucks. I guess rim and tire size really make a diff. I thought for sure in my mind that a 3/5 is what I wanted. Wellllll, maybe not. I could have sworn I've seen many a truck with a 3/5 that looked level as can be. Go figure.

If it were mine, I'd have to lower it a bit in the rear. But, still its a nice looking truck.
