Any experience with a TBI 350 and supercharger?
I found a good deal on a 350 TBI out of a 93 truck with a whipple supercharger, was thinking about dropping it into the 83 i just bought. The trans will be a 4l60E probably. This motor should put out just over 300 ponies right? What else should i take from 93 truck to help out with the motor swap?

Re: Any experience with a TBI 350 and supercharger?
definitely get the ECM... double check the harness just in case there is a piggy back chip in-line in the harness. With the Whipple chargers you either chipped it, or sent your ECU back in to get modded. The other thing you can look at doing is changing to a smaller pulley and installing a 454 throttle body but you are going to need to find a smart guy with the ECU. The guys at Whipple might be able to help point you in the right direction.
