Re: Wiper Motor and switch

there is a small harness you can get ( brothers has it )that is complete with the plastic connector and everything from the switch to the motor, this is an angled connector, then you just hook up the wire from your harness to the 1 that is remaining.

Re: Wiper Motor and switch

No clicks unless the clicker is broken...i thought it might be a vairiable amperage rheostat type thing. Buti really dont know i quite out of my element when it comes to electrical stuff.

Re: Wiper Motor and switch

Still Would like a picture from someone if it out there of the actuall wiper motor under the dash...Connections and such.

Re: Wiper Motor and switch

I completely understand the need for a picture, the wiper harness only fits one way( has two connections 90 degrees from each other) and the power fits on the left over prong and goes to the connection on the motor. Once you get the switch and harness together, you will be like Ohhhhhh, I get it!

I would get you pics, but the boss frowns upon me leaving for home, getting the camera and taking pictures, coming back to work and uploading them to my work PC and sending them, stupid boss.

LOL my boss doesnt care for that either but beening that hes my father and i do all the work arround here he just has to suck it up...HA!

Thanks I thought i had it connected all correctly but im getting absolutely nothing out of the wipers or washer...so im kind of back to the drawing board. Theres a good chance being that this truck sat for 15 years before i got to it that one or both motors dont have it in them to work anymore anyway.

I gotta get the truck safetied here soon so that one of the criterial for "safety"

Re: Wiper Motor and switch

If you got the wiper motor out, you can test it with the battery.
