Re: NOS SB Pulleys
I am going to put power steering on my 67. It has a stock 283 non a/c. I bought the pump and bracket but I need the crank pulley. I have researched the pulley some at the Chevy dealer and came up with the 3744043 2 grove. Are you saying that I need the 3751232 add on pulley for PS?
Thanks Nate

Re: NOS SB Pulleys
all of the original setups for the 67-72 SB that I have seen had a 2 pc crank pulley for the PS. PS was a seperate pulley I may be wrong I am sure someone on here can let us know.

Re: NOS SB Pulleys
You are correct the add on pully is for an ac truck. But the crank shaft pully will dictate that you need to run the orig power steering and water pumps wich is a short shaft waterpump and you can buy the water pump pulley easily

Re: NOS SB Pulleys
Guess we should clarify that the crank pully your looking for is shallow the 2groves are right next to the harmonic balancer. Alot of the ones I noticed are away from the balancer about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 inches .Those are the ones you dont want

My research has been conflicting but has a single grove plus a double grove pulley bolted together. So one grove will not be used in the middle. My PS pump pulley part # is 3993325

Re: NOS SB Pulleys
Are you willing to split these up? I don't need the PS pump pulley.

Re: NOS SB Pulleys
The cranck shaft pulley your looking for has two grooves and you will need them both. One for your Crank to power steering and another one for your crank, water pump, and altenator. The crank shaft pulley is a 2 groove with an add on for an A/C truck .If you dont want to add it thats fine .Wich means you will have two grooves on the crankshaft to opeerate water pump Alt and power steering ,Your done if all the belts line up and you might have an issue with that if you dont have the right waterpump and pully. You need the short shaft water pump and a two groove pully for it

Re: NOS SB Pulleys
This is the kind of set up I am looking for. I notice some crank pulleys are cast and some are stamped. Either one is fine with me.

Re: NOS SB Pulleys
I have misplaced the double outside pulley but have it somewhere. But this one is for an ac truck. The crank pulley is a single back one and this one goes on it for the power steering. the one on the left is the add on pulley the RH one is used.

Re: NOS SB Pulleys
I do not think NDS1968 wants the deep dish pulley. If he has a single crank pulley ( and no ac) he will need a single shallow pulley that will bolt onto the existing single crank pulley as it has two raised locators on it that fit in holes on the new pulley. He will use the same three bolts that hold the single pulley to bolt both on the harmonic balancer. The PS pulley goes on the pump with the groove closest to the pump housing.

Re: NOS SB Pulleys
Forgive me for bringing up an old thread but I was wondering if you still have the power steering pulley #3993325?
