Looking for Header Recommendations
Hello everyone I have a 1970 C-10 Stepside 2wd with a GM Performance 350 crate engine. It's the basic street engine with cast iron heads. I need to replace my headers as they are completely burned out. I'm looking for a good sturdy set of headers that offer good clearance for the spark plugs. I'm just looking for the basic steel as I'm on a budget. Summit Racing has a large selection but I'd like to hear from experienced users before choosing. Thank you in advance for any advice you can give.

Re: Looking for Header Recommendations
I've run Dynomax ceramic,Hooker,Blackjack and in my `70 C20 2WD small block I have a set of Summit 1 5/8 headers. It didn't seem to matter which set I've owned over the years they all have at least 1 plug that is tight. The Summit headers I have now makes #4 a bear to change(open end wrench)Will probably burn that boot over time. Spend the extra cash and get a good set of gaskets....The copper held up the best for me.

Re: Looking for Header Recommendations
Been running Hedman Headers for awhile and have had pretty good luck with them. Don't seem to present a great problem when changing plugs with a deep set socket.
