Need help on changing a camshaft sensor

I am working on a friend of mine 2000 silverado with a 5.3. his cousin broke the top where the wiring plugs into the camshaft sensor. Its not completely broke off but close to it. What all will I have to remove to get to it? I have never worked with a 5.3 so any help would be appreciated. Any pics would be great to.
Thanks
Shane

Re: Need help on changing a camshaft sensor

Remove the intake, Very easy job, My book says it can be done without removel of the intake but you need to clean around the sensor to keep debris out of the engine. what was his cousin doing to break the cam sensor?
