How Do I Get Functional Access To Starter Wires???
This is a carry over question from a thread I just posted over in the electrical forum
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...42#post3631942 I'm Installing a new H&H engine wire loom ------------> How in the heck do I get to the starter wires to disconnect the old and reconnect the new? I don’t find any suitable access from the bottom & the top isn’t much better. I can barely touch the terminals from the top but don’t see how I can get the nuts and wires on and off. I can't move much and my arm blocks my view…

Re: How Do I Get Functional Access To Starter Wires???
You can reach them with a socket and extension but like Sinister said its easier to just drop the starter. Also much easier if you change to the mini starter.

Thank you.
So the next question is how do I get to the starter? That doesn't look much easier... what am I missing? Go in fro the top or bottom?

Re: How Do I Get Functional Access To Starter Wires???
Just be careful that when you remove the starter that you have it supported so it doesn't fall down and hit you in the face. That Hurts!
