How hard/much to install a 67 front clip?
I have been looking to buy a k5/blazer/jimmy for a while now. Some of the trucks I have have the 67 front clip. To my eyes I really like it.
My question is how difficult and how much would this cost to do? If it only cost $500 in parts then I will just buy the nicer truck. If it turns out this modification cost thousands of dollars I will probably chose the truck with tired motor and 67 front end. Thanks for your input. |

You can pick up a complete front clip off of a 67/68 truck for 300-800 dollars. The only thing you will need to install it is the 67/68 Rad support mounts. Other then that it is a bolt on set up as far as I have found.

Very easy to do in a weekend. Buy the better of the trucks then stick a 67-68 front clip on it.

The bumpers are the same i do believe up untill 71 when they moved the signal into the bumper. gmc bumpers are all the same except they have a small notch cut out on the top lip for the turn signals.. I could be off on this but if I am I am sure someone will correct me.

Bumpers are same until 71. Lights are in bumper.
