What are the chances
Ok all I got this truck 70 c10 looking at the title the last 6 #'s are 180749 on the vin tag the last 6#'s are 160749 but the rest of the of the vin is the same.Just that 6 and 8. Could this just be a typo when the title was changed over? Or what are the chances i got a truck with with a wrong title but with the same vins all but one number? The glove box door is gone. And how would I go about fixing this?

It's probably a typo. You will probably have to run it down with the BMV. They should be able to find it. It is just too big of a coinsidence to have the numbers exactly 20,000 off. 6s, 8s and 9s are frequently mixed up or mis-read.

I've had this issue before... I don't know how bad the DMV is there, but here in Ohio I had to get the last owner to fix it on his end which was fun considering he lived in eastern PA
