Steering wheel I.D.

I removed this steering wheel from a 1970 C10 a while ago. i noticed the center cap looks like it came from a C40 up truck. Does anyone know what the steering wheel is from? I plan on using this if it cleans up decent. I am just curious as to what it originally came from. Thanks Ryan.

Re: Steering wheel I.D.

I agree that the center cap is from a larger truck, but those steering wheels were a larger diameter and had a thinner rim. The whole wheel was made of that bakelite plastic stuff.
Are there any markings inside the hub of the wheel or under the center cap, like a casting number?

Wheel looks aftermarket to me, even though cap is oem.

I was kinda thinking the same thing, but I've seen some Camaro's or Chevettes have steering wheels made similar to that with the wide flat spokes and the grip extending inward from the rim an inch or two.

Never seen an oem Chevy wheel exactly like that before but I could be wrong, would not be the first time.
