Anyone Raise the Bed Floor (Stepside)???
going air ride in a few months and have come to a conclusion that I'd like to keep the original, beat to crap, bed wood intact instead of cutting for differential clearance.
I'll need to move the floor up by about 3.5-4" so the questions are: -if you've done it, is there anything in particular I should allow for? -is it as simple as it "appears"? remember! I have a stepside bed so it should be a straight move, right? -any stepside floor mod pics? just trying to cross this bridge before I pull the bed in a few weeks THANKS!!

Good luck with it and I'm sure if it turns out anything like the rest of your work it will look great!

Doug, you might check with Keith and some of the guy's that are running DMs to see what kind of modifications they are doing to raise the steel floors in their trucks. Might be able to transfer some of those concepts over to the wood floor.
