Re: Chevy/GMC truck nationals?

They moved this show to Maggie Valley NC about 4-5 years ago. Then this past year they moved it to Newport Tn. without any notice. Many members here had already reserved rooms for MV and either changed or just canceled going altogether. It sucks since i always enjoyed meeting members there. There were about 30-35 members this year anyway but that # could easily have doubled if the promoter had handled the move with some advance notice.
You can check the meets section for the thread on the move(IIRC it's in the Carolinas section)

Re: Chevy/GMC truck nationals?

I'm just wondering if I should ask for the first weekend in May off ? I'd hate to do it then it change to another date. I can ask for days off 6-months in advance,so I wanted to make sure I get this time off so I can come to this years show.
