I have one out of a late 70's early 80's truck with the hei. It was pulled out of a buddy of mines truck about three years ago for a v8 swap. He said it ran fine when pulled 250.00 picked up.

I have a 1969 model 250 (needs a carb) was running when pulled free if you come pick up in WNC- has been sitting outside for 2 years.
