motor mounts

I have the metals pieces that attach to the frame and the crossmember. Are there other mounts that attach to the engine. This is my first classic truck and it came without an engine. Im getting ready to drop in the old engine from my camaro but for some reason I feel like Im missing something. Please help.

Re: motor mounts

What year is your truck, and does it have a standard transmission or automatic. The mounts are different depending on what you have.

Re: motor mounts

If you have a '63-'66 and if you have the original style frame brackets, then all you're lacking is the actual motor mounts and the bolts and heavy washers that attach them to the frame brackets. And of course the bolts to bolt the motor mounts to the block.

Unless he was installing an inline 6, then he'd need the brackets between the engine and rubber mounts.
