72 half ton Suburban weight?
How much does my '72 half ton Suburban weigh? I'm guessing around 5000 lbs.

Two wheel drive or four? I think that your guess is on the low end. My son's 4x4 Burb with AC front and rear is 6,000 lbs. plus.

I went to the NADA website and it said 4090 lbs. I guess I'll find a scale and get to the bottom of this. I've got to believe it weighs more than 4090 lbs. Even if that's a dry weight, gas and fluids would only add about 250 lbs.
