What emblems were on my truck?
On my 71 K20 all the fender emblems have been removed. Im curious what emblems do I need if I ever want to put them back on.
I have the original sales order for the truck and it says model is Custom, running the 350 engine (probably all had that), no side trim, basic black interior with metal door panels. Thanks for any input |

Re: What emblems were on my truck?
Custom/10 by the door on the fender, and the 350 would be under the front light marker. Only the 307 equipped trucks would have the 4 wheel drive emblem under the marker light.

Re: What emblems were on my truck?
I don't believe the "4 wheel drive " emblems were used after 70. I believe if it came with a 307 it wouldn't have had an emblem under the marker light just like the 2wd's. The fender emblems would have been custom20.

Re: What emblems were on my truck?
That`s right. It would have the Custom/20 fender emblem and an 8-350 emblem under the front side marker. The standard KE2 motor was a 307,no badge. The 4 wheel drive emblems were dropped in`71 when the Custom Deluxe and Cheyenne Supers were introduced. The "Deluxe" and "Super" emblems took the place of the engine option badges under the fender emblems (Custom/20).The engine badges got moved to where the 4 wheel drive emblems were.

Re: What emblems were on my truck?
Oops, on the Custom 20, that's what I would have meant if I would have payed attention more to your truck model in your post, but it should definitely be Custom/20 as your fender emblem. Always thought the 307 trucks got the 4 wheel drive emblem, but I must be mistaken. Thanks for clearing that up.

Re: What emblems were on my truck?
If you need some Custom/20 and 8 350 emblems I have some I'd sell cheap.

Re: What emblems were on my truck?
I have a 72 K-20 that I acquired recently. What info would you need to tell me the original emblems for the truck? Glovebox codes, VIN or anything else? I believe it may be the Camper Special model. It has the aux fuel tank / and switch on the dash, the fender holes are there but no emblem, and it has the 8-350 on the front under the marker lights.
Thanks! |

Re: What emblems were on my truck?
Just looking at the picture I`d guess it`s a Custom/20 because of the lack of bright work on the windows.Do you have the options sheet on the glovebox door?If it`s a Custom Camper it will show the "Custom Camper nameplate" option. If you have the options sheet I can do a total breakdown.
